An engagement session is included because I truly believe it is a vital part of the entire process. It gives us the chance to get to know each other, you will see how I handle lighting, and we can take our time perfecting different poses. I’m able to arrive on your wedding day knowing the way you interact with each other and how to photograph your love in a genuine way. You will already know how to pose, which saves time and means you get more variety in your portraits (we skip the whole feeling awkward part!). Aside from the gorgeous portraits we will take, what we get out of your engagement session is invaluable and it makes a HUGE difference for your wedding. For this reason, I do not allow for the engagement session to be omitted.
Can we omit the engagement session from the Basic Collection?
Eight hours is the minimum coverage I offer to ensure that I can fully capture the day. Even with a small wedding, the timeline usually stays the same. However, I do offer special pricing for elopements and microweddings.

Can we book less than 8 hours?
I love traveling for weddings and engagement sessions, especially if the location is meaningful to the couple. A total of sixty miles of travel is included, and a custom quote will be sent if locations are outside those limits.
When do travel fees apply?
Images are guaranteed to be in your hands three weeks after your session and six weeks after your wedding, although they are usually up well before then.
How long does it take to get our images?
I average around 100 final images PER hour of coverage, so you can expect at least 800 images for an eight hour day.
How many images will we get?
In order to reserve your date, you will have to sign an online contract and pay a retainer of 30% of your package total. The balance is due two weeks prior to the wedding date.
